Andy
Rosfeld, Single Copy Operations Manager
Dayton Daily News, Dayton, OH
"Dayton Daily News currently has approximately 1,000 of the Sho-Rack electronic TK-Mechs
on the streets of the Miami Valley. We are gradually replacing $3.00 TK-Mechs
with electronics, route by route. Of the first 250, only two
have come back from the carrier force with complaints of not working. Upon testing them, in
house, nothing was found wrong and they were put back on the streets. We
were also pleasantly surprised to find out that by putting an electronic
mech in an older street worn rack, that they work as good as new, weak
springs and all. Overall we are very satisfied with this mechanism.
We have 500 to 700 mechanisms left to be replaced with TK-Electronic
Mechs.

Michael
W. Corrie, Single Copy Zone Manager
Portland Oregonian, Portland, OR
"In regards to the Sho-Rack Electronic Mechanisms that we are
now using - they are far superior over any previous mechanisms that
we have ever used." said Michael W. Corrie. "Our down time
on mechanisms has dropped 75% since we started using the electronic
mechanisms. These electronic mechanisms are much easier to repair
than the regular TK Mechanisms. I am very satisfied with the
Electronic Mechanism and have recommended it to all of our
independent wholesalers. This is the only way to buy a rack with
this mechanism." The Portland Oregonian currently has
approximately 1,200 electronic mechs. |

Peter Doane, Single Copy
Sales & Promotions Manager
Bangor Daily News, Bangor, Maine
"I just wanted to send you a note about our Sho-Rack Electronic
Mechanisms. When I took over ordering Single Copy supplies, my predecessor
had started ordering a competitors mechanisms. We had decided to upgrade
our old stacker mechanisms to meet new price increases. Your salesman,
Michael Kaczmarek, called on me just after I took over and tried to sell
me your mechanisms but the cost was higher. Since we were one of the first
in New England to start switching to electronic mechs, I had little
experience in mechanisms or single copy supplies. Needless to say, I made
a mistake. The money I saved with the competitors mechs have cost me in
breakdowns and repairs.
After the first winter, I
decided to try some of the Sho-Rack mechanisms. In three years I have
had 2 batteries go bad (which were replaced free) and one mechanism which
we sent back and was returned repaired for free. I have ordered all of my
new machines with your electronic mechanisms and have slowly replaced many
competitors mechanisms with your mechanisms. Your mechanisms have not only
performed great but were easier to install in our old machines, some of
which are over 25 years old. Another plus is the loading and price change
process which is much easier. We have decreased those type of problems by
80%.
Here in Maine, we get a lot
of bad weather during the winter. I have not had any weather problems with
your mechanisms. In fact, it was so bad one day we had to take a butane
torch to some of our outside machines just to get the ice off the
faceplates to put money in to open the door. When we put the money in,
your mechanisms worked.
Overall, I am very happy
with both your K and TK-Electronic mechanisms. They have made my job
much easier. I recommend your mechanism to any one I talk to and will
continue to use your mechanisms.
In a final note, I wanted
to pass on my praise on Michael Kaczmarek. He is one of the best salesman
I have seen. His follow-up is outstanding and he is always passing on
ideas which we really appreciate. He does a great job representing your
company and himself. You are lucky to have a person who can sell himself
and your product." Peter Doane.

Kaspar Wire Works, "I learned more in 3 days about how to work on the
rack than in 17 years in the business", after attending Kaspar

Gary
Jaeger, Single Copy Manager
The Idaho Statesman, Boise, Idaho
"We have been using Sho-Rack’s electronic TK Mechanisms for a
little over two years now. We have not utilized data retrieval with them
yet, but may in the future now that we have determined that the mechs are
reliable. After minimal instructions to our haulers and replacing all old
keys with the newer version, we have had pretty much trouble free
operation with these mechanisms. I have just placed our 1999 rack order
with Sho-Rack and specified that they all have the TK Electronics." Gary Jaeger. |
